Can you answer Christine’s question about Weddings?:

I’m currrently a freshman in highschool and I’m taking:
English 1 Adv
Geometry Adv
World Geography Adv
Physical Science Adv
Home Economics 1
Spanish 1
Girls P.E. 1

^Those are all full credit classes so if I want to become a wedding planner which courses should I take over the summer and/or next school year?

Weddings Feedback: To become a wedding planner there are not really preferred or specific courses to take in high school. Although Home Eco, Business, English, Design and Tech/ Art are good options to consider.

Weddings Feedback: Hello! Wedding Planning is far more than picking colors and talking to caterers and florists. It’s a business. You need to get as many business-related courses under your belt as possible. Accounting, marketing, sales, etc. You need the skills to be able to get customers before you can plan parties. This is a competitive environment, and successful business strategies are key.

    Wendy
